Surplus Tool Solutions is a division of the Surplus Group, an Australian enterprise established with a focus on the resale, reuse and recycling of professional surplus equipment and assets.

The Surplus Group originally began as a wholesaler of used professional Audio-Visual equipment. In a short period of time, we expanded our operations to include a diverse range of new and used tools, machinery and equipment through our Surplus Tool Solutions brand.

Our goal is simple: to make quality equipment more accessible and affordable for businesses, tradespeople and consumers, while helping organisations recover value from surplus assets.

We work with government departments, large offices, businesses and other organisations to help monetise surplus equipment and assets that may otherwise sit unused or be disposed of. By giving these items a second life through resale, we help our suppliers recover value while providing customers with access to quality equipment at competitive prices.

A key part of our business is the refurbishment and resale of pre-owned tools and machinery. By extending the useful life of existing equipment, we contribute towards a more sustainable and circular approach in industry, while offering customers cost-effective alternatives to purchasing new equipment at premium prices.
